Hmmm, many thanks. All of the wonderful stories ~ this is what nurtures our desire to do this over and over and to always keep improving.

Today we took the cream boy formerly known as Hunter (still awaiting the new title) to the airport to fly to his family in Connecticut. It was bittersweet, he has been here for such a while that we have grown incredibly attached. However once again upon talking to his new family it was so meant to be. They too have suffered great heartache with the loss of their beloved dog recently. I have talked to several families who were looking for a therapy dog and I have had Hunter pegged as one since very early on and in fact was going to begin training here with him. Who knew it would be the therapy of mending hearts? I do hope his family will join us soon and share their pictures, adventures, laughs and challenges. I so enjoy that we have this little corner of the world to do this.

We had another really challenging emotional time this week. Many of you know that our 1 yr. old F1b Macy was originally added to our doodle family as #2 doodle to be beloved pet and a potential breeder in our program. Shortly after Macy came to us after a great deal of thought and research we took another direction with our program. We had retained Macy as our doodle fitness trainer ~ boy did she get them all moving, but always knowing that at some point we may rehome her. During the summer I received an email. Like many before they were looking for an older doodle, this one was very different though and I could not bring myself to pass by it. I have saved it in my inbox all this time as I was not fully equipped with the answers to be ready to respond. A short time ago I contacted them and we started emailing back and forth. You see they have a doodle named Goldie who has lost her 'sister' this year and they really wanted badly to give her a sister again. Last weekend Macy, Jennifer, Nicholas and myself piled in the car and drove up to Alachua, FL to meet Nita, John and Goldie. Needless to say all four of us thought it was a perfect fit and the three of them seemed to think it was a pretty darn good idea also. The first few days were a little hit and miss for all, including the Carter doodle family ~ but everyone seems to be doing well now. So Macy has begun a new chapter of her doodle life and we cannot wait to read all about it from yet another family we think so highly of. Nita is signed up with doodlekisses, however not done a lot here yet and tells me she hopes to pop in soon. If you think about it, please do look her up.

Of your Ella and James litter, we have two remaining chocolate girls who we had decided to retain. Sometimes our plans are not the final ones though and tomorrow will bring perhaps some more news. I have had the opportunity of being introduced to a family in south Florida of a very special 5 year old girl named Giana. She so wants a dog and they have been looking at Labradoodles. You see this family REALLY needs the kind, gentle love with abundant cuddles and kisses you have all come to know as a common thread with this litter. Tomorrow Amelia and I are going to take a field trip to them to see if Amelia can bring the smiles to their faces they so deserve and if she will be the right fit for them. They are looking for a pup who is older and already trained which would definitely apply. Please keep this situation in your prayers that it will indeed work for the greatest good, whatever that may be. I will share with you how it went when I get home tomorrow night.

Finally, I would like to share that we have a new furry face to have joined the Trinity Doodle bunch here on the homefront. We would like to introduce you to Springville's Gift of Charity, our new deep apricot mini australian labradoodle. She has passed all of her preliminary testing with flying colors and we look forward to finding that special red boy who will become her future mate. Though we have been extremely drawn to the standard and medium sizes we have decided to add the mini's to our line so that everyone, even those with space limitations can know the wonder of this breed as we do. Never fear though, we have no intention of ceasing with our standard and medium sized doodles.

Thank you so much for letting me share all of our news with you!
Many blessings ~

It sounds like your doodles are doing alot of good ... warming the hearts of sooo many. Your stories made me smile. Thank you for sharing. Your new mini is so beautiful. I hope she brings you much happiness (and lots of beautiful puppies, too). Kodi sends his love. He continues to amaze us everyday with his sweet, good nature.
