How to find us: On the Beach Romping

Hello Vancouver Doodle meetup members,

We will have a good old beach romp at kits off leash park on Sunday May 15th starting at 10am until 11am. This a great opportunity to meet other doodle owners  and share information about raising your doodle. If possible,  we will try to have a groomer attend to provide tips on caring for your doodle's coat at home.

Doodle Group Hike- Pacific Spirit Park
Sunday 9:30 AM at Pacific Spirit Park in Vancouver, BC

Hello Vancouver Doodlers

This month we are trying a doodle group hike through the trails at Pacific Spirit Park. For those not familiar with the park, there are kms of well maintained trails winding through beautiful groves of trees. Most trails are under forest canopy shielding hikers from the rain.The trails are wide and relatively flat making it an easy hike There is a mixture of on leash and optional leash trails but most of the dogs appear to be off- leash when I have hiked the trails. A brisk 1hr hike with the doodles should be lots of fun.

We will meet at entrance to the Sasamat trail which is located at W 16th ave and Sasamat St on the south side of 16th. There is parking along W 16th ave and the entrance is marked with large park bulleton board. There are trail maps available at the entrance so we can plan our route before we start.

The hike will be on rain or shine.

Hi Alix, we live near UBC as well. There is a new place at Jericho shopping center 4th and alma called Rejoice. A while ago they had a special offer of your first clean and tidy is free. We went there they we great so nice even took pics and shared them with us. Also there is Dogs life on Broadway and Waterloo. Tico and I would love to meet you two one day.

I have a 4-1/2 month Australian labradoodle, Ozzy. He could use a trim to his face (I'm worried he can't see!). Can anyone recommend a good groomer? I am near UBC. Thanks!

Our next Meetup will be Sunday August 8th at 9am and 10am The format of this Meetup will be slightly different than previous ones. For those that would like join a group of doodles and hike through the endowment tails we will meet at 9am and hike until approximately 10am. After the hike at 10am we can meet the rest of the group that didn't participate in the hike for a group romp on grass areas at Spanish banks off leash

Location for the Doodle Group hike - 9am:
We will meet in the parking lot of the off leash area at Spanish banks and hike into the trails from there
Location for the Doodle Meetup and Romp-10am:
Off leash area on the grass at Spainsh banks - meet towards the end of the parking lot

This is Tico he is a 5 month old goldendoodle. We live in the kitsilano area of vancouver and are interested in meeting other doodles.
