Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi there, I’m new to the site. We have a 15 week old Goldendoodle. I’ve been looking online and thx to this site I have realized that we may have an open faced boy with a flat coat.
I’ve attached a few pics.
Can you all tell me what he may grow up to look like?
Is it possible to tell if he will have a short or long coat at 15 weeks?
He doesn’t shed at all right now, but I guess he may later on?
I am having trouble posting pics, so I will add a comment to attach pics there.
Thank you all so much!
Jane

Here are some recent pics at about 14-15 weeks.
Your pics don't seem to be working but if you click on my profile there are lots of pics of our previous dog, Luna, who was a flat coated f1 mini goldendoodle so you can see her progress.
Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to hear about Luna. She is a beautiful dog.
I looked at the photos on your page, and yes, I do think your pup has an open face, and will probably shed as an adult.
Hard to tell about coat length at this stage.
Thanks for your reply. Everyone thinks he's a golden retriever puppy. I guess I have to get used to explaining when people ask! :)
JJ,
In the reply box, the 2nd image from the left (it actually says image if you hover a mouse over it) will allow you to post photos in the discussion or the responses. Its the box that has a little mountain in it.
Your puppy is beautiful! I do have to agree, he will most likely be a shedder with an open face. I have one of those as well and wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. You can see more of her on my page. I actually have three Doodles, two are fluffy but one is not.
Thank you! All 3 of yours are so cute!
And thanks for the tip about how to post photos. I was trying to upload files and it kept giving me an error. :)
I guess I should prepare to have a shedder on my hands! :)
OMD! (Oh My Doodle) He is absolutely precious!!! Such a sweet and also mischievous little face. My advice is to take LOTS of photos. They grown so fast and that cute little puppy will be big before you know it. We have a photography group here if that interests you. We also have a wonderful "The Food Group" which will give you excellent recommendations on feeding him after you have had him for two weeks. You should probably also join the "Puppy Madness" group for support and fun during this special time.
Thank you! :)
He is def sweet and also a bit mischievous! We def love him!
I will for sure join the groups you mentioned. Thank you! We really need some puppy help for sure. :)
So, so cute!
I agree definitely flat-coated but the good news is probably low-maintenance :)
Enjoy him!
