Curly coat? Beard? Maybe?

Hey friends! I am brand new to this group and I am already loving all of the great information for new doodle owners like myself. :) I have a question for all of you seasoned Doodle owners. I have a 12 week old female doodle and we love her so very much. I can’t help but be curious about what her coat/muzzle is going to look like once she is grown. Currently we have a very wavy, fluffy coat, but a very short haired, golden retriever like muzzle (see attached pictures ... hopefully they attached). I’ve read that their muzzle can normally be a sign of their future coat. Do you guys think that she will ever have a beard and if her hair will stay curly as she ages? (We’ll obviously love her either way, but I’m really hoping that we keep the curl!) :)

Your baby is beautiful!!! Whats her name? Honestly, I don't see the signs that she will get the "facial furnishings" but its possible she will stay curly and fluffy. I have an "open-faced" Doodle and we just love her to pieces! Her name is Charlotte! ... Aww!! She's beautiful! I took a look at her puppy photos and she does favor Charlotte. It's so hard to tell what they'll end up looking like. I've looked at several pictures in the groups and it's really a toss up, some seem to get facial hair and some don't.

We fostered a first generation labradoodle when she was 6 years old.  I got puppy photos of the dog and was pretty shocked at the difference between puppy look and adult look.

SO sweet! And you are so right, that is a huge difference. I guess there's no real way to know what she'll end up looking like. I've seen it go both ways.

looks like my mea's coat when she was 3 months.. shes almost 6 months now and shes starting to grow facial hair. she had the wings under her eyes as well.
