Its amazing to look at these photos, now that Lucy is close to 3yrs old. She was so very timid that first day of Puppy Romp, sticking close to her daddy and not venturing out. Lucy was so timid she was pulled from the 'big dog' area and put in with the 'little' dogs due to her shyness. Today, Lucy absolutely LOVES little dogs. I'm 100% certain its due to her early exposure to the small guys. She's very gentle with little dogs, too. When we happen upon a small dog on our walks, the owner often picks their dog up or pulls them back from play-bowing Lucy, afraid she'll stomp their little guy with her 50+lbs of body weight. Lucy would never jump on a little dog, she's all about crockadoodling, going in for a play-bite (but never connecting) and then jumping back. She adores that game. Lucy has come a long, long way since that first day of Puppy Romp, not only in her socialization with other dogs, but in every area of her development. Simply put, she's the BEST dog!
