Thank you very much. I am using a Canaon 40D with a 70-300mm zoom and a Canon 5D Mark II with the 70-200 f1.8mm zoom for my action shots. I wait until around 1 hour before the sun goes down to get the backlight in the hair. I make sure that I am at least on a 45 degree angle and I use a good lens hood to prevent lens flair.

this is such a great photo, love her ears and the lighting is just beautiful!
