Oh lordie, at least it will grow back!  We have to keep Peri short also - it's just easier for us, but I have found that brushing her snout at least a few times a week helps with the mat problem. And she likes it.

LOL yes :( I am still waiting for his nose to grow back. We had to do it though for his well being and I had the "whatever" attitude that it will grow back. I regret that now! We live in very very hot weather and we have to keep our dogs very short in the summer, but seriously, what is with that head! I have a picture of him on the couch with his head buried under a pillow! How do they know?!
