Hi Susan - What a lovely picture of your family! Love the garden.

I got your message, hope I can help. Once you receive your collar, the information you enter in your profile is the data stored in the buckle of the collar. You can then (depending on the type of smart phone you have) download the app onto your phone (neoreader). That was very easy and is user friendly also. Your doods name and your telephone number are engraved into the buckle as well. Someone could call you within minutes using that number, or when they see the scan code inscription they would know to seek the authorities or a vet so it could be scanned. PetHub also has it's 24 hour hotline number on the buckle, so if they were contacted - PetHub can send you either a text, email or VM alerting you that your doodle was found. There is also a premium subscription which requires a small annual fee for the upgrade and that gives you GPS tracking capabilities.

I too was a little confused until I spoke to someone at customer service, they were very helpful and once I got started it was very easy.

As I stated in my blog post, I still like the concept of the microchip very much, however this is an additional layer that could easily  give me instant results should we become separated.
