About Me:: I had to drive to Buffalo from Toronto to get Ruby on December 27, 2012. She was screaming in terror in her crate, when I got her at about 11:30pm. I went to my car, took all 6 pounds of her out of her crate, and she was shaking with fear. I put her back in her crate, turned on Leonard Cohen, and she slept the whole way home.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Ruby was born to Rusty and Lily at Whispering Pines Kennel in Iowa on October 22, 2012, which makes her about seven months old. She weighs 26 pounds currently. She is a terrific ball fetcher, swimmer, and digger. She is super friendly, loves children, is gentle with tiny dogs, and game to play with big ones.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I just had a vision of a Golden Doodle named Ruby.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I live near a big park with a wonderful dog scene. There's lots of room to play fetch with the chucker. I also take Ruby to a park on Lake Ontario where she can swim. It's my heart's delight to see her go after her ball in the water.

Favorite Doodle Products?: She loves Fromm's for puppies, and Orijen for puppies. She also loves bananas, goat cheese, peanut butter, and hard-boiled eggs.
