About Me:: Retired. We've been living in Lake Havasu City for about a year. Harley (3 1/2 yr old standard Labradoodle) and I belong to Pet Partners and visit the local nursing home and participate in the READ program in the local elementary school.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have two Austrailian Labradoodle: Harley is from Rutland Manor, a large Standard, and Annie is a miniature, red, from Tegan Park. Harley weighs 93lbs and Annie is 19lbs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Had both a lab and standard poodle and loved the look of the labradoodle and the fact that it didn't shed and was hypoallergenic. Great personalities.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We take both doodles with us in our RV. I really enjoy taking Harley and letting him do his therapy work at the nursing homes. He's a natural!

Harley and Annie are looking great! I have met Harley before in So Ca at the doodle romps. I wanted to ask you if you have any recommendations on where to stay in Parker or Havasu with dogs(not normal dogs, but labradoodles). We usually stay in my sisters RV at Sandpoint marina, but they no longer keep it there and because we are towing a boat, we can't tow the trailer too. Any suggestions would be helpful. We'll only be the second dog to join. I emailed all the principles of all the local schools and nobody showed interest. Go figure! Thanks for the compliment on my red Rosco. I originally wanted a dainty, cream, female...but out of his litter of 4 the dainty cream female was super shy and he tested MOST mellow and since I wanted to do therapy I chose him. And NEVER regretted it. I love red now too.

Can't wait to see photos of your two =) There was just a discussion about getting TWO doodles and whether or not they should be similar size...you might find it here and give your take on the vastly diff dog sizes =) My Rosco is a Delta dog too...we don't have a local READ here, but our library is doing its own version this fall.
