Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I had a chocolate lab and LOVED his temperment. His only flaw was the shedding. We used to play a game at dinnertime, Who Has The Dog Hair On Their Plate Tonight. A Labradoodle was a no brainer for us. Marley is the perfect addition to our family.
