It appears that a new focus on his show, is that he will take a dog from a family who did not put much research into the dogs type of energy level and swap it for one of his pack/group dogs at his…Continue

hi Angel! I haven't been on here in ages and just noticed your posts about Winston's problem. I hope he is okay now! How is he doing??
Angel. If you have any reservations about vets, go quickly to my vet!! I'm confused as to why they would keep him over night??? We had Rusty's surgery years ago and he wore his collar for a day or two and jumped into midstream dog life faster than I could stop him!
Tell them I referred you! Not that it will do anything for me, but just do..K? The girls up front at the phones and desk are sooo great!
Rusty is graduating tomorrow morning from his obedience I training class. He'll be 8 in October, but hey, he's working on it!! Actually he was a pretty amazing boy today! Echo gives him good vibes, I think.
Let me know how it all goes! Best loves to Winston!
Just thought of this...it's an investment, but go on line and buy the red les pooche brush and brush your puppy often. I regret not having done this because you end up with problems matting after about 8 months of age and then you eventually end up shaving him bald, which broke my heart! It's worth the $52 because the brush keeps them from matting! I wish I had known about it from the beginning.
I cannot believe how much Hunter and Winston look alike. Hunter has the white spot in his chest too :) love it!!!! so happy to meet you!
oh my! how exciting!! Let me re-assure you, this breeder is very very responsible. I have been to her home and met the two sets of parents. It is NOT a puppy mill by any stretch of the imagination. I think she delivers them because she is protecting her family. She has two beautiful little girls, and the pups are raised in the house. I just saw one of Winston's sisters this weekend (Quincy). My girlfriend has her and she is adorable, too!
I know 3 dogs from these parents, Hunter, Monte, and Millie. I see each of them several times every week because I've gotten very close to their owners, and ironically we all live within a couple of miles of each other! EACH dog is so sweet, no disposition issues AT ALL. Very obedient, super smart! They each of a different disposition, Hunter is the sweetest. (I might be prejudice!) But, he is actually the kindest of the three...but I LOVE LOVE each and every one of them. My husband and I have commented several times how we hit the lotto in this puppy. He is delightful! Just this morning I ran into a guy with a mini labradoodle and his 2 little kids. Their dog wouldn't chase a ball or play with the kids. Mine played with them for an hour, bringing the ball back, diving in the water for the ball, over and over, dropping it at their feet. :) Made my heart smile! You only get dogs with this disposition from a loving breeder - that's Arika!
Winston will probably like playing fetch. Don't worry if he doesn't bring the ball back to you...he will figure it would when he's about 1! All 3 of the doods love the water, and are huge retrievers from the water! We just taught Hunter to jet-ski this weekend, check out his pics. If you ever have any questions along the way, feel free to get in touch with me. Welcome to the doodle family - I will add picture of Quincy his sister to my photos. I got 2 this weekend that are sooooo adorable! Happy for you!! Tami
Hi Angel. We use Mukelteo Vet clinic @ 11815 Mukilteo Speedway. Dr. Dahl has seen our chocolate lab thru most of his life, his battle with cancer and the day we said goodbye to him. He's a great doctor and very compassionate. Dr. Chatterson and Dr. Crocket are good as well. With three pets I seem to be there quite often for one thing or another so I've gotten to know the vet tecs and front office staff pretty well too.
I haven't used Doggie Haven tho I know about it and it is very close to our home. We are going on our annual trip to Cabo in the Fall and I am really nervous about leaving Echo this first year. Hopefully my daughter will come and house sit but if that doesn't work I want to go visit that place too. Previously we used a vet hospital/ kennel recommended by my neighbor which is okay, but I like that this place lets the dogs be together more during the day and get some training in to boot.
As for my Yorkie... I love him so much but he is one test of my patience, I tell ya. He is rather high strung and barks way too much! I've been working so hard at keeping him under control and not teaching Echo to follow his yappy! He is actually on some meds to keep his anxiety down. He has trouble with licking his feet when he gets up tight which is often. Echo has actually given him something else to focus on which is good. I can't image a 25 lb Yorkie! How funny! Thought Rusty was as big as they come!
