Hi there. He is from Burkhardts they use the tavistock vet clinic. You may want to call them and ask their opinion I don't know the other breeder but they are related in some way. I found out later I was concerned with them as I did see them list on Kijji. I had no problems with the Burkhardts being a farm. When we visited the barn it was a great environment. Clean, no smells the dogs moms were all clean happy well groomed and nails trimmed. The dads and the other dogs not in the nursery were in a wing of the barn specially designed for them with out door runs and dog doors I do have qualms on what do they do with the offspring that aren't sold. what concerned me as I do know that the pet store in Stratford Superior aqariums stocks puppy mill dogs they will not answer any questions on the dogs background.Neelys mom daisy was from another farm, the one related to burkhadts? She was a red golden retriever. Goldie was his dad. I would definelty ask for proper paper work prior to even looking at the litters. This way you have the genetic history of the dogs. I did request that after the fact and they said they would send it. So i did get his dads history. I didn't get his moms. I have to take their word that she was a purebred golden. I would also ask for paper work proving the genetic testing was done on the breeding pair. Although our vet said that if you have the guarantee(not that that ensures the guarantee is valid) that if the dog is diagnosed with a genietic condition you would have that as the proof that genetic testing wasn't done and you would have what ever warranty that they gave you. There was another couple of breeders But they were farther away and that was something I didn't want , but having Neely I don't need a close breeder anyway. I would not go to a breeder in Lucknow. Their home raised dogs were not groomed and they let us hold a few day old, so weren't concerned with any virus or disease which is not good.
Leep us posted.

Hi Guys, We live in Toronto and have a 15mth Goldendoodle named Thomas. He came from a breeder called Burkhart kennels which is north west of Kitchener in a Mennonite community. They have a great breeding record and our dog is amazing. Great temperament and so smart, no shedding and we adore him. Two families in our neighbourhood near the lake in eastern Toronto have purchased puppies from Burkharts after meeting Thomas. He just loves everyone. Here are some pic's. Good luck to you! Boy did your discussion on the forum ever open up a can of worms!! Keep in touch.

Just wanted to welcome you formally! Sorry your discussion has turned into a debate - that particular breeder is a little headstrong I think!
Anyway, you will ADORE your future puppy - I recommend doodles highly if you are prepared to find a great breeder and do some training. Peri is now 9 months old and is pretty well behaved. Life is calming down :)

Hi guys!

Our older boy is a standard F1, he was supposed to be a small standard at 50-55 lb, but he didn't know that! He is 80lb, and is very lean, he just got tall. Linda thinks he might be the largest she has ever bred! Our younger was supposed to be a medium at 35-40lb and is almost 50lb - he is also very lean. I don't know if we just have a knack for picking the ones that are going to get bigger than they were supposed to!!

Linda does breed quite a few litters of mediums, so I'm pretty sure you'd be able to get one around the size that you want.
