Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I have friends with some and I wished for a non-shedding, smart sweet dog.

I saw Yogi's picture on this weeks slide show and I thought to myself I bet that is Yogi! I remember when you got him and posted info on the Smeraglia forum! Toby is from there too and we both say Hi!
Yogi has grown into a really beautiful doodle boy! Don't you love this site? It's so easy to post pictures here compared the the Smeraglia site!
Hi Barb, Thanks for the welcme. Yogi stole my heart. That furbaby is adorable. His white markings are just too cute. I met another Smeraglia doodle at our last romp. She was a much loved beautiful girl.
Hi Barb, Is Yogi enjoying his first snowstorm? Just what we needed, right? Sadie loves it and of course, comes in covered with mini snowballs. Take care, Linda
Hey Barb! Your pictuers are great. It's funny, I pictured you with dark hair. When I saw your pictures I felt like I recognized you and knew just who you were. At least Yogi is cute while he is breaking everyone's skin. We have a lot of that going on over here too. London won't stay off my pants! The whole tying the leash to my belt loop and having her go where I go during the day...well, that doesn't work out when she is biting my pants and pulling them down! Little Ashton doesn't appreciate it very much either. And poor Wade about lost a finger when he was trying to get a baby wipe out of her mouth.
I forgot to tell you, I use to sell Longaberger baskets. For a while, I let Dakota use one for his toys, but now I changed him over to a metal bucket that is painted black. I was afraid mr. choco would eat it.
Hi Barb, My Dakota is 10mos old. We did not get him until he was 6 mos old. He was pretty much house trained and he did have some manners when he came. He went thru puppy prep school at Sherri's. I personally think that the GD are better looking, my Dakota is so good looking. Choco is cute and has a great personality too. I am having a time with Choco with his house training, take him out, he won't do anything, bring him in and he pees. Now, we have it pretty much down, occasional relapse. Dakota was so much easier.
Hi Barb, I love the chocolate with the white, beautiful! My Dakota came from Sherri, Smeraglia in Alabama. but he is cream coloring. I now also have a chocolate med Aust labradoodle, named "Choco" latte. Is that a longaberger basket? You don't see many GD that are chocolate.
Hi Barb, Yogi is so cute! You and your family must be thrilled to finally have him home. When did he actually arrive? I assume you had to pick him up at Logan? He will certainly bring joy into your life after losing a longtime family member. I know you are in for alot of laughs, Sadie is 5 months and everyday is still an adventure! Let me know how you're doing and keep those pictures coming! Have fun, Linda
Oh, Barb!
You are so right about how our dogs add a dimension of healing for us. I am so sorry about the loss of your son and also your Springer. It's so hard to loose those so innocent and close to our hearts.
You and your daughter will have such a great time getting that puppy trained, well, a start in the training process! Good bonding all around.
A little about me - I'm a retired RN, and a survivor, so far, of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I have four daughters, 3 grandchildren (none of them love very near though - sad for me).
Toby has been a joy, quite a happy and smart boy. I hope you enjoy Yogi as much as we have our doodle. It seems that these dogs are just FULL of personality. They do need training however, just like any other dog. Get ready for action!! Keep in touch, okay?
