Work PT, 1 23 yr old son, have always been a dog lover. Lost our 14yr old wheaten terrier 3 months ago and couldn't stand the emptiness in the house
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
This is Sadie, our multi-gen Goldendoodle. We just brought her home on Nov 22nd. She is sleeping through the night in her crate! She also is learning sit and down commands, we're getting there. We also have a 6 yr old tripod kitty, Gina.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Read good things, like the look and temperment.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Cocoa has topped out at 61 - 62 lbs - very lean and muscular under that fur! She is very active - we have a dog play group in the mornings where they all run and wrestle like crazy. She has another doodle friend who is about 75 lbs - also lean - just a big dog!
I have looked at the facebook page but every time i go on i am re-activated and i just hate FB so i avoid it if at all possible. I know - i am the only one in the world but it just irritates me!
Hi Linda - I know your note was sent months ago - I haven't been to the site in ages and just happened to take a look! Were you tempted by another doodle from Judith?? I have taken a look at her site a number of times, but it never seems to have been updated, so I thought she might be out of the breeding business. People always ask where I got Cocoa because of her unusual coloring so I have wondered .... Cocoa is about 55 lbs and just a joy. She has remained just the sweetest dog in the world and i have yet to find a person or dog who she doesn't adore - not too discriminating! She still doesn't like the car - I have to lift her in, but she tolerates it once there - just lies there and looks long suffering! We play every morning with a large group of local dogs and if I am not ready at the appropriate time she dances back and forth between me, whatever I am doing, and the door. Their internal clocks are amazing! I would love a second, but it just seems nuts - I travel a fair amount and have a wonderful dog sitter, but would have to take out a second mortgage to pay for double boarding! I hope you and Sadie are well. She is adorable and the haircut looks good. I held out until about 9 months and then the dreadlocks just became overwhelming. She is now groomed about every 6 weeks with a puppy cut. I will have to add some pictures to my page.
Best,
Marcy
Hi Linda,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know you have a doodle neighbor. We live in North Andover. Dublin is 7 months old and loves to play with other dogs but doesn't get too many opportunities. Any local places you would recommend?
thanks,
Mo
Hi Linda and Sadie! Sorry it has taken me so long to write back! It has been a very 'interesting' time here in Fargo! Our home stayed dry but unfortunately so many others suffered a lot of damage. The Red River is finally coming down and the clay dikes that are all over the city are finally being removed and the town is returning to 'normal'. It was an experience I do not want to repeat!!! Thank you for your concern.
I LOVE your pictures!!! Happy Spring!

Hi Linda. I got Macy from a breeder in Delphos, OH. Her dad was a goldendoodle and her mom an AKC golden retriever. I get confused by the generation thing. What does 4th generation mean?
Linda
Yogi wants to know where the pinecones went. I am loving it not pulling everything out his mouth! He is doing great losing a little ground with the crate training any advice?? Trying to socialize him, housebreaking going well. He is really pretty mellow and very smart. We start puppy school in 2 weeks already "coming" everytime. Barb
