Hi Brecka ~ I love the puppy in your profile photo!  Super cute.  I noticed you are trying to decide between two puppies.  Between the two you have shown, I would pick the one in your profile photo.  You mention in your profile that your puppy is F1 - so that means the parents are a lab and a poodle (50% lab / 50% poodle). Your puppy would then be considered a 1st generation puppy.  The hair can be smooth like a lab, or more wirey, or wavy curly like a poodle.  The F1 puppy can shed or not and the puppies within a litter can also vary.

When I was doing research before finding our first puppy, I came across some information that explains the ways they produce labradoodles and how to determine getting one that is non shedding and allergy friendly - if that is a concern for you.   A puppy that is an F1-B (the parents are a F! labradoodle breed  back to a standard poodle) has a more consistent coat type and is most likely to be non-shedding and allergy friendly.  And they say the coat is the easiest coat to take care of.

All that being said, I often wonder if those that do shed some are not easier when it comes to grooming!  Neither of my doodles shed and sometimes I wish they were shedders in that they could shed their coats instead of me brushing every other day! LOL

Good luck with your new little puppy.  Welcome to Doodle Kisses!
