Hi Cami,
I was just doing some past forum searching and saw that you went through an ulna break and surgery with your puppy. We are dealing with similar situation and I guess I was just wondering if you had any advice or knowledge to share after your experiences. Our Chianti has a severe bow in her right front leg, they are talking either surgery in January with an external fixator or doing it in May, cutting the ulna, adding a pin. Then cutting the bow in the radius and securing it with a plate. Did you have both the radius and ulna cut? Did you have a cast or an external fixator? How long was recovery? Mostly I just need to hear from someone that everything went fine and was great and your puppy is a puppy again...SO many horror stories online. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,for the complements on my doodles. I love the chalk but also love the chocolate and Parti. The dark red parti are beautiful. Hope you have a great day.
That will be just too much fun!!!By the way I love the red, white and blue neck decoration in some of the pictures!!! Where did you get it? We will have to swap Halloween pictures!!
If you have a Michaels around they carry them for pretty much all of the holidays! They had shamrocks for St Patty's, Ears for Easter and the 4th of July sparkles...I can't wait to see what they have for Halloween!! and Christmas!
ahahah.... you have a good eye. that picture was taken at canon beach which was where the movie had been filmed. (i googled it - kinda a funny cuz i have lived in oregon my whole life and only distantly knew of that fun film fact!)
Hi Cami! I just looked at your pictures and my goodness how Little Finley has grown! She is beautiful. How is her leg doing? I could see one had been shaved so expect she must have had some surgery - was it successful? She didn't have that before our last romp did she?
We NEED to do a romp and think maybe the 28th. I'll make an official announcement soon. It will be good to see you and everyone else - we have lots of new folks with doodles in the area too - should be fun.
