- I am a Doodle Mommie re-entering the work force hopefully very soon. We lost our DH in Nov 2012 and miss him terribly, but the Doodle's and I keep each other's spirits up and the love flowing around our house. I have 5 children and 6 grandchildren, and a new grand baby, boy, on the way. I am so grateful that I have so many friends here in our Las Vegas Doodle Group, who have lifted me up and supported me through this last year especially. What wonderful people we have been blessed with through this wonderful website!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have 2 doodles. Coco who is 4 and Sabrina, "Bri" who is 3. Coco is a Chocolate F1. She is our little Princess, very friendly and loving, but wants things done on her terms. Her coat has really "silvered" and seems to continue doing so. Bri is 3/4 Labrador and is black with red/gold shadowing and has a very "flat" coat.She is our little heartbreaker and the lover of the 2. They are both very smart and friendly and love doodle romps and swimming at the beach, or anywhere for that matter!

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My daughter suggested a Labradoodle after our last 2 dogs passed on. Mariah, our German Shepherd was 17, and Roxanne, our Lab/Rottweiler mix was also 17 when they passed over the Rainbow Bridge to that great playground in the sky. When I first started researching the Labradoodles online I thought it would be nice to have a dog that was not black and did not shed. In both cases it was love at first site, and so here we are...with Coco who sheds (although it is light and just soft little poofs!), and Bri who sheds, yeah you guessed it LOTS of black hair!! Oh well, so be it..because they have permanent places in our hearts and I would not trade them for anything in the world. I think that I was just destined to Swiffer up Black Hair as long as I am here on this earth!! Such wonderful affectionate, happy and smart children they are!!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Cuddle, and play, and Cuddle and play......and cuddle some more!!! We also enjoy swimming and going to the dog park and meeting new friends thru Doodlekisses!
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Yes!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I groom them myself, but go to The Soggy Dog to do it! They have puppy tubs, tables, driers and you can use their clippers or bring your own. For $12/wash and $3/dry it is REALLY reasonable..and they clean up the mess! Beats sitting on the floor getting a stiff back and then having to clean up ALL that hair! The price included shampoo and towels. You can purchase Conditioner or bring your own. I choose to bring my own shampoo, since I have one I really like..keeps them smelling fresh much longer than most! Thursdays are 1/2 price day so basically it costs like $15 to bath both of them and takes 2 hrs instead of 4....and NO MESS!
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- We love the large size Kongs that you can stuff. I stuff them with mashed potatoes and freeze them! It was especially helpful when they were teething and does keep them occupied for at least 30 - 45 minutes!!
