About Me:

I'm mom to 10, Nana to 6 with 2 on the way, and wife. I love life and playing with my husband, grandchildren, friends and animals.
I LOVE my Goldendoodle, Beau. One couldn't ask for a more perfect dog. He seems to know intuitively what is needed. He is very much my dog and really misses me when I am gone for any extended period.
We have 8 acres that he has access to to run and roam. He goes on trail rides with us and loves hiking the trails with me. He is a great companion.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have a standard size Goldendoodle. His name is Beau and is almost 4 years old. He weighs close to 90 pounds. He is such a sweet and smart boy! Even people who don't generally like dogs like Beau. He picks up toys and brings them to whomever will throw them for him. He loves the water and loves to go for rides in the car.
Besides Beau, we have 4 outside cats and 3 horses.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I was out walking through the neighborhood one day and came across a house with the cutest dog I had ever seen playing in the front yard. The owner was out so I inquired about the dog.
She told me all about Doodles and I played with hers for a few minutes. I fell in love. I was also very attracted by the nonshedding aspects and the good size.
She told me that Doodles were really good with children and smart. Doodles just seemed to be the perfect dog.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love to go walking with Beau. I love for him to go on horse rides with me and he accompanies me wherever I go outside, whether to the barn or just around the property. I feel safe when I am hiking by myself on the mountain and he is with me. He's a bit chicken when people come down the path but when other dogs come around, he stays between them and me. He is great!
