This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
Join the group called Toronto (GTA) Doodles. Ask the question there about who can recommend a good breeder in the area. You should have no problem :)
In response to your question about breeders, what area of Ontario do you live in?
Hi Daina, sorry that you had issues with your breeder. It's really tough when you fall in love with a puppy and then they end up being sick.
My Daisy had Whip Worm and it took 3 vet visits to clear it up. The day we brought her home we already had the Vet appt. to have her checked out. Had I found DK before finding Daisy I would have done things a lot differently but I thought we did all the right stuff making sure we chose from a good home.
All that being said, having her and loving her the way we do I would not trade her for all the tea in China and she was worth every penny of expense. I am sure you feel the same way about Max.
