My husband and I live in East Texas. I work at a High School and my husband is a UPS driver. We have two adult children, Son lives in Shreveport LA truck company terminal manager and Daughter Lives at home, but travels extensively as a recruiter for the Univ TX @ Austin. So we are basically like Empty Nesters and love it!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I am relatively new to being a doodle owner. My first, Daisy will be 2 years in April. Best dog I have ever had. So much so, my husband got me another last valentine's day. He, Buddy, is more of a handful, but still a great dog. We live in Texas and we had an incredibly hot summer. Daisy's golden coat is fluffy and sheepdog like. Buddy is in early stages of a corded coat.

Hi Dana, Daisy & Buddy, welcome to Doodle Kisses. There is lots to learn on this site & don't forget to check out all of the groups you can join. Have fun exploring !!!!
Thanks for the nice comment....my boys are all multi-generation Australian Labradoodles...meaning their parents and grand-parents are labradoodles...the "Australian" part is just a designation given to labradoodles with lineage from specific Australian breeders, but different organizations define it differently....there's some debate on that whole subject.
I've never known anyone to cord the coat on their doodle, so I don't have any advice to offer. I would like to see how it turns out if you decide to do it. :-)

This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups by area, for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
There is another member here who cords her doodle's coat - Joanne, Spud and Starlit.
