What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We are pretty new in the "doodle" world. We have a four year old Golden Retriever and are big fans of the retrievers, that is what led us to the Golden Doodle....Our love for our Golden and our lack of love for sweeping her fur up twice a day! Our newest family addition has been a wonderful blessing. Our doodle is almost six months old and we love him. He and our golden get along great. Finley, our Golden Doodle, is such a joy. He is very goofy and playful, and talk about happy! When he gets up in the morning he spins in circles to show you how happy he is. He loves to give kisses, I think that he gives more kisses than any dog I have ever known. He is getting to be a very big boy, but so gentle that you can trust him in nearly any situation. Honey (our Golden Retriever) has come to love him too. They really are great friends.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We love our Golden Retriever. We really wanted another Golden and became interested in the golden doodle after learning more about the breed combination. I have always been a fan of the Standard Poodle as well.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Finley is a fantastic exercise companion. He never seems to loose energy and drive. He is also one of the best cuddlers I have ever known! And what a pleasure with no shedding to speak of!

Favorite Doodle Products?: I guess I would like to give our support to the dog food that we feed. I have heard that with at least one of Finley's litter mates there have been some reports of skin issues. I don't know if it has anything to do with her food or not. We feed Canidae and have had no problems whatsoever. We have fed this brand for years and have no complaints. Years ago we had a lab that had a sensitivity to corn, we switched to Canidae and have never looked back. It is proving to be very effective with our doodle as well. Very little waste and very happy, healthy dogs!

No Chloe was not as light as Finley, she was always a blonde/apricot color..I love her color, its different. Finley will be much lighter..and much bigger, LOL. He is already 10 lbs heavier than Chloe was at the same age..I am thinking at least 85 lbs..Chloe is just 65 lbs.

It is fun to be getting in contact with Rivers Edge doodle owners! We are super excited to bring our puppy home. Jasmine is breeding Odessa and Raven and I am not sure who the father is...... Hmmm.... I should look at that. Does she only have one Golden Retriever? I will have to do some more research!
