About Me:: I live in Seattle and my spouse Mina and I adopted a male Golden Doodle named Edgar almost six years ago. We also have 2 catss - better known as The Hooligans. Three animal boys - all in cahoots. Life is no longer quiet and calm in our house.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a male F1 standard Golden Doodle.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Some of my favorite dogs have been Golden Retrievers and I really liked the look, temperament and smarts of the Golden Doodles. The lack of shedding is also a real plus!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Taking walks and playing fetch are activities we all enjoy. Edgar loves playing in the water and is always up for a walk/hike, rain or shine. He spends much of his time with a ball in his mouth.

At 4:41am on July 4, 2010, Pat & "Tucker" said…: Hi Debra- Edgar is beautiful. I did have a good experience with Holly at Four Paws. I did not visit but got a lot of reference and talked often with Holly. I'm in Pennsylvania. Have no problems with Tucker (2 1/2 now). He is a wonderful, good dog!
There is a group " Four Paws"- you should join so we can keep track of names and communicate. How was your experience?

Used to be with 'dominance down' and now it is positive rewards for behavior you asked fr. What a difference!!! a fantaastic one. Samantha just loves whens she does it right - all the yahooss and cookies. Just be careful - Samantha is built like a long haired Lab not a thin poodle build - as the cookies were dangerous for her waisteline. I finally figured out that throwing a ball gave her the same thrill as all those cookies. Yu will have such a great time - puppy kindergarten was our favorite - except that she was n class with little yappy pups so she had no one to play with so the trainer brought her dog in for her during play time. But she learned real quick how to say hi to older dogs - a very, very fantastic life lesson.

PS - one more thing of great caution - DK is very, very addicting!! Can't wait to see more pics
