New mother to Remi...a 3 yr old rescue. I like to play golf, ready, knit and sew.....and take long walks of course.

Labradoodle
Remi rescued us a week ago....and brought lots of happiness into our home. Our lab of 14 years passed away last year at this time...and we needed some sweet kisses.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Shelter
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Like the look, the concept of reduced shedding, the intelligence and the situation was right.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Walk, play catch, take naps.
When I learn how to transfer photos to facebook I'll put a picture of Remi on....in the meantime...it's us!
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
We bathe her....don't know what her coat will do when it grows out.

We're too new to know.

Sorry to hear about your Lab. I had a mix husky/shepherd for 17 years and when Cujo died I didn't think I wanted another dog. I'm ready to retire soon and we planned to  escape to Fla. in the winters. Well now I have three Goldendoodles and that pretty much shoots the condo in Fla. But I wouldn't change a thing. Mine don't shed,and they are all very smart.LOVE EM.. Lynette, from Ohio.
