What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have a 4 year old goldendoodle named, Charley. We bought him from Gleneden kennel in Berryville, Va when hurricane Charley came through Virginia in 2004. He recently passed his CGC test and is a member of Therapy Dogs, Inc. Amazing dog!!!!!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
This was a first for us. We have always had Golden Retrievers. We have been through cancer and major hip problems with our last two dogs. The "No" shedding factor was a major plus.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We walk a LOT together. Play and throw balls. He has special toys that he brings us as a gift several times a day. Charley has been going with me to visit nursing/assisted living homes and seems to be a big hit.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
We have a groomer called Munson and Zevon in Midlothian. I bathe and brush him inbetween appts.

Would Love to meet up with you sometime, I have a 1yr. old Goldendoodle Ellie. We also live in Midlothian!!!! Would be Fun to get a bunch of the local Doodles together for a Romp~

Hello GRAD member,
We have a new and exciting event coming July 26th, from 1-4 to celebrate our recent jump to 100 members!
We will be having a BBQ/Picnic and a lake for the doodles to go swimming at The Dude Ranch in Glen Allen. Please check out the discussion on the group page entitled "Party Time" and respond there if you plan to attend so I can get a doodle head count for the facility.

Hi Dona! I'm Linda and Hollywood will start her Therapy dog observatory visits this thurs at HDH in richmond. We live in hanover, so I'd like to stay somewhat close. I'd like to stick w/ hospitals and schools. I wish we could've met you at the dog jog...were you there?

I have 2 sons..one a freshman at LA Tech and the other got his masters from Purdue in December (and has a job!).
Jonathan (the younger son) got Murphy a shirt that says "MOM likes me Best".

Hey there GRAD member,
This is a reminder that the Spring Romp is next weekend March 15th at 1pm. The make-up date in case of bad weather is the following Sunday. We have some great news, our newest member Charnell told me her daughter Amy, is launching a canine therapeutic massage business and she has volunteered to provide some freebie massages to the GRAD group at the romp. Also as I stated in the e-mail message we will be having a few contest. Inspired by Strange's Dog days in the garden, the best sit/stay, the owner/doodle look-a-like, and the best dressed for St. Patty's day contests. Please respond in the discussion on the group page if you will be attending and please let me know if you are new to the group, are attending and would like your GRAD bandana for your doodle.

Hello! I think you are the same "Charley" that Hogan and I met on a walk in Salisbury one day. If so, thanks for the great heads up about this site and about Munson. Hogan is looking soo much better these days - like a big stuffed animal - LOVE it!
