Hi Cousin, Welcome to Doodlekisses. Now whenever you have a few minutes or hours to spare you can cruise through the different DK's groups. Check out the puppy, grooming and food groups. Hershey says "hi" from S. CA Doodle Romp
Hi Elizabeth! We live near the king street metro and the Carlyle neighborhood. I bet you are so excited to bring your puppy home! I hope we can get the pups together sometime. Let me know if you need any local suggestions or tips.
Hi Elizabeth. We don't actually live in NoVA. We're in Southern MD. There are a lot of members who live in Alexandria. I sometimes like to bring Gus and Lilly up to Old Town and walk around the stores and waterfront. As for how we found our doodles. We visited several breeders in the area and ended up getting Gus from a small breeder down in St. Mary's county. Lilly is a rescue. We found her on Pet Finder and contacted the group that had her and drove to Florida over a weekend to pick her up.
Great to find someone in NOVA. I will look into the NOVA thread. How did you find your doodle?
Welcome! This is a great place to learn/share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
Hi Elizabeth! My favorite brush is the green Les Poochs Brush. It really is amazing and makes it so much easier to brush Libby. They have different size brushes for different coats, so be sure and check them out carefully. As for the food, I would join the Food Group. Absolutely everything you ever want to know about food is discussed in the group.
Welcome to Doodlekisses Elizabeth. Always great to welcome another local member. Have fun meeting everyone and exploring a great site. Are you getting your doodle from a local breeder? Make sure you checkout the NoVA doodles group.
