Oh my goodness!!!... my Bug looks a lot like your Gibbs when he was young. I see that he sheds... is it a lot? Here is a pic of my lil guy at 6/6.5 weeks... He's such a sweetie :o)
My boyfriend's daughter has asthma and allergies so I am hoping that Bug doesn't shed too too much as an adult. I don't notice his hair around the house but if I sit and hold and pet him I notice it on my shirt or pants sometimes. Bug's mother was a labradoodle and father was a goldendoodle just like Gibbs!
Well, if you do come to visit some relatives, we will be here and would love to meet. It must be fun to visit your parents in Asia- it seems so exotic to me. Can you tell that I don't travel much past California and her neighboring states? Loma Linda/Riverside/Moreno Valley areas have a large SDA population it seems.
You tell Gibbs, his California buddies would love to share some secret handshakes with him and teach him some fun naughtiness.
Thanks for the friend invite. We NEED to be friends. I don't recognize your Aunt's name - wouldn't that have been unbelievable is I did!!! When you come for a visit it would be fun to meet for real. Loma Linda is a wonderful hospital. My dad went there for cancer treatments. He was treated with such respect by the staff. Oddly, my dh worked at the Riverside County jail before he decided on teaching as a career rather than law enforcement. This was, of course, about a hundred years ago cuz we are old.
What a very small world! The odd connection here and there is one of the very cool things about doodlekisses. Would it be even stranger if I knew your aunt or family member? Both my husband and I were born in Riverside, attended local colleges, and worked in the local school district.
Oh my gosh. One of the names on my list for future doodles is Gibbs and for exactly the same reasons you chose. AWESOME. I sure wish I didn't live on the other side of the world so that I could meet a Gibbs.
GIBBS is sooooo cute! My little Bug's mother was a labradoodle and dad was a golden doodle too! Yay for Double Doodles!! :o)
Welcome! This is a great place to learn/share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
Unfortunately I am no help with the iPad. I have one, but I always use my laptop and barely ever pick up the iPad. I know a lot people do use it on DK so you might put that question out and hopefully someone can help you. Put it in a discussion "Nothing to do with Doodles"! Hope this helps!
Hi Ellen and welcome to Doodle Kisses! I love the name you have picked out and I can tell how excited you are to get him home! There is nothing like a Doodle:) This site has the best information ever on Doodles and everyone is very helpful and supportive. Our groups and discussions are amazing and lots of fun too! Be sure to share pictures with us, as we love pictures on DK! Have fun and looking forward to meeting Gibbs:)
