Elsie the Mini Doodle's Page

Oh my goodness she is a cutie.  She's so tiny.  If you've seen my pictures the solid chocolate is an F1 labradoodle and she changed dramatically in her first year into the second year as well.  She is supposed to have the wavy hair coat but ended up short and curly-ish.  Now the brown and white one came from a labradoodle breeder and as you can see has absolutely no doodle look to her at all.  We did the Wisdom Panel Mixed Breed DNA test and she came back miniature poodle, Labrador retriever and of all things greyhound?  Your little girl has high set ears (like my Josie) but that could be due to her young age but usually isn't typical of the doodle look (lab and goldens have long lowset floppy ears)?  I'm not familiar with the mini's so not sure on their development process but I do know my chocolate girl had pretty straight hair for quite a while, this was her at 3-4 months (second picture) and she shows no signs of curls. The first pic is Josie who looked very lab like as a puppy but grew into a more greyhound look?  That last pic you posted with the white chest looks lab like?  F2 can morph into many things, it'll be fun seeing the changes she takes in the first year. Sorry I wasn't more help.  Also check out Helga Kaltenbrunner's page not sure how it's listed but she has three goldendoodles and they all have a different look (same breeder different parents) and her Nimbus has a brother with a coat like yours from the same litter (scroll through her pictures and you should find it).  She works with minis training them before they are sent to their furever home so she might have a better insight of their final look?
