About Me:: I am recently retired and will be married to my best friend for 40 years come October. I am the Mother of one son and two daughters and my four-legged son Riley. I have a 13 year old granddaughter Abigail, a 10 year old granddaughter Anastasia and a grandson Monaco who is 14 months old. Four granddogs and 2 grandhorses round out my family. In my spare time I sew, crochet, craft, garden read and love taking long walks on the trails we have where we live.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a Goldendoodle named Riley who was 2 years old last month. He is absolutely the best dog I have ever owned! I have told people...think about what you would want as a perfect dog and Riley is it!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I did some research and thought about possibly looking into a dog that I could take to hospitals and nursing homes as my granddaughter was in Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital 2 years ago and I could never forget the smiles on the childrens faces when they brought the dogs in to see them. My mother and mother-in-law were also in rehab facilities in nursing homes(they both have sadly passed away) and was able to see the joy on the residents faces when dogs visited them.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Riley and I go for an hour to hour and a half walk every day. I sometimes take him to the lake here and he really enjoys it. On our walks he gets to see other people and dogs and I know he really enjoys the interaction. We play fetch sometimes in the doggie park. I am doing some training with him since I only have him 2 weeks and he is absolutely the best dog EVER!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I have been brushing him myself since I only have him a short time.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Again, since I don't have him very long, I would be interested in what other doodle owners suggest.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes
