About Me:: Retired after working for 37 years as an Adult Education Manager and University Recruiter. I am married, have three children and eight grandchildren.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: One Golden Doodle (half English Golden and Standard Poodle).
His name is Rebel. We just passed the, "Good Citizen" training class with Alissa at PetCo on Green Valley Parkway (excellent trainer).
Now we are going to start working towards our Therapy Dog Certificate.

We have one other pet, Zeus a kitty.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We have had Golden Retrievers for years. I love the breed, but not the hair. Two years ago we were at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and net a man and his beautiful Doodle. He shared the breeders information with me and In March 2012 we got our beautiful boy from Blue Ridge Golden Doodles in Tennessee. Cindy Suit breeds beautiful dogs and hand selected Rebel for me.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: He loves to play ball, go to the park, go on long walks and play with other dogs (large and small) and children. He is a huge fan of the Bully Stick and frozen bones I get from the local butcher,

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I give him weekly brushing, A professional groomer does the rest

Do you have a favorite dog park? We all like Bark Park the best I would say. Let me know what Sat. you might be free and we'll get a group together to meet up there before the heat moves in.
