About Me:

I am married, have two teenage boys and three dogs. I work full time outside of the home for a surgeon. I enjoy spending time watching my children play sports and in the sun. I would love to spend more time reading, however quiet moments at my house are few and far between.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I currently own a large F1 Golden Doodle, Fiona, she is one. I have a 12 year old Bichon Frise named Comet, and a 5 year old Bichon Frise named Waggs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We choose the doodle because we wanted a larger dog that could rough house, play sports, swim, etc. We also needed a non shedding dog, as our boys really suffer from allergies. The temperment of the Golden Retriever and the non shedding of the Poodle really makes the perfect, well rounded sporting/family pet.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We love to swim with Fiona. We have a large inground pool with 12 foot steps that she insists was put in for her!! She will not stay out of it, therefore we keep her very short in the summer as a 60 pound furry dog takes a very long time to dry. She also is a great fetcher, she loves to run after anything you throw and bring it back to you. She is pretty good at soccer too.

Yes!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Fiona is groomed by the same groomer that does our Bichons. She normally does not do large dogs but since I started taking her at 8 weeks she has no problems grooming her.

Favorite Doodle Products?

My favorite doodle product is my doodle coaster on my desk.
