Considering a move from Michigan to the New Braunfels, Texas area early next year to be closer to family and grandkids when my husband retires. How does your furbaby handle the heat?

Hey all, sorry for missing your comments! I'm glad to see some more Austin pals! :) Teddy is six months, was just neutered 2 weeks ago, and is sweet as can be but pretty crazy and playful. We live in south Austin.

I work remote during the day, so evenings are better. We can do Tuesday evening, Wednesday evening is our vet appointment so I think that will be a full afternoon already! My yard is somewhat in transition right now, nothing too terrible, a few flagstone & brick piles here and there, but we don't have new furniture for outdoors and our current is terribly uncomfortable. It's not out of the question but your yard is probably better if that works for you! My cell is 979-220-2306

No name as of yet. I think it took me three weeks to settle on Malu's name. He will most likely be 55-65 lbs full grown. Malu is 50 lbs. Right now the goal will be to meet lots of new dogs and people of all shapes and sizes!

What is your puppy's name? What size will he/she be? I will look into Yard Bar! Jewel might be a bit big for your puppy now, she is 68 pounds. But she is very good with my daughters Jack Russell.

I found out this week that Yard Bar won't be opening until the Spring. My trainer (Crystal from Leaps N Hounds here in ATX) will be having her new training facility next door to Yard Bar! Memberships are on sale now for discounted pricing. I think we will be buying one pretty soon for the two Doods.

I would also like to schedule some back yard romps for my new puppy. Maybe starting next week, so we can have some time to adjust to things at home. I live in NW Austin as well. I will have to stick to backyards until we get past our parvo boosters though, no dog parks for us yet! We are just 8 weeks :)
