About Me:

I am dog lover from way back and am quite involved in my local dog club. Have been doing obedience and agility work with my 2 labradoodles. Starting on some Dancing with dogs training as well

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have an early generation labradoodle Kita. She is now 3 years and her daughter Caddy. Caddy is about 9 1/2 months. Both are being trained for obedience trials and Kita has started agility training. I incorporate dance moves in their obedience training to keep them motivated.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I wanted an intelligent, people & dog friendly, easy to train non shedding dog of medium height. My husband didn't want me to get a dog & gave me a list of reasons why not. So I found a solution for each item on the list to break down his resistance. He finally gave in. (Naturally having one wasn't enough and Kita was just so perfect I now have her daughter Caddy who must be the most mischievious little minx I could have possibly gotten. We adore them both though.) I also was wary of adopting a dog that would have minimal health problems. My research suggested a poodle mix. However information I found suggested the need to find an accredited breeder. Thanks Charlotte. I haven't been disappointed. My two girls are just adorable. (though I am probably biased.)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Cuddling, playing, visiting, going to the beach and training.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

Me. I clip them myself and regularly groom them once or twice a week depending on their coat length. At present they have a summer clip which is easier to manage.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Tug toys for Kita, & non destructive balls for the mischievious baby, Caddy.
