Our little Olive of 12 weeks wants to jump up on everyone, what are you doing to prevent this? Thanks :)JeanneContinue

Did I ever respond to your questions about the bike tow leash(BTL)? Did you try it? No, there is no problem about pulling your bike over even with a large dog because the center of gravity is on the back tire. Harpo will pull the leash over the tire and change sides on me, but I just stop and readjust him. My problem is with too small dogs. We have a 25-pound Jackapoo that we haven't tried on the BTL yet because he is too hyper. Maybe this summer.
Watching your photo slide show click by is like watching many of my own photos of Kona click by! Wow! Olive is just a bigger version of my little cartoon boy! (Kona is only 24 pounds at 9 months and has been this weight for several months, so I think he is almost full grown now!) But I'm LOVING your slide show. It would be fun to see them together.
Jeanne, red is the hardest color to 'keep' - just ask a beautician! :-] Reds almost always fade. Some of the lighter apricots fade to cream! My apricot guy has lost darker red parts except for his eyelashes and muzzle and his apricot has lightened up quite a bit. My cream and apricot guy probably was apricot all over when he was a puppy (we didn't get him until age 2).
Thanks for the friend request Jeanne! I am so glad Olive did well with her surgery and I totally understand the "getting out"! Libby loves her walks and if for any reason we can't do it, oh my, she lets us know she is not happy! LOL So nice to be friends with you on this "amazing" site!
Happy Birthday Jeanne! Hope your day is filled with love, fun, celebrations and lots of Doodle kisses from Olive:)
Hi Jeanne...Thanks for the Friend invite. Olive looks a lot like Gracie Doodle did at that age. Gracie is an F1 (first generation 50/50) Goldendoodle. She has very soft fine hair. It is wavy in some spots and curly in others. She is what is called a wavy fleece coat. No shedding and she does not have that heavy dense or thick hair that some doodles have. There are just so many hair types that it is hard to say. She is adorable and your love for her will just grow and grow!
Welcome to Doodle Kisses Jeanne! You have definitly come to the right place to learn about Doodles! This site is wonderful for information and discussions and everyone is so very helpful. Enjoy!
