Question for shedding doodles

- My name is Jenny, I am 35yrs old. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 10yrs. I feel incredibly blessed to be sharing my life with him. Together we have two amazing children. A son who is 8yrs old and a daughter who is 5yrs old. My family is my world and I wouldn't want it any other way!

- We just picked up our new baby Goldendoodle on Saturday 3/31. He is an 8wk old, cream colored doodle named Finn.
In addition to our new doodle, we have a 3yr old Shihpoo named Murphy, a 15yr old cat named Jasper and numerous fish. :-)
We had an 8yr old golden retriever named Brody who we unfortunately lost in September 2011. He had surgery to remove a mass in his intestine. He died in my arms 12hrs later. Words cannot express how much I miss him.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Having had a Golden Retriever we new the joy that breed brings to your life. The only negative was all that hair. :-) So a Goldendoodle seemed to fit the perfect image for us.
Our house has not been the same since losing our golden retriever. I miss the presence of a big dog. We all agreed it was time to get another. I am looking forward to giving a new dog a forever home. :-)

Meet Finn

We picked Finn up on Saturday March 31st. He'll be 8wks old on Wednesday. He's a cream colored F1 GD. He is the cutest, sweetest, lil baby which is good because he appears to be a force to be reckoned with. :-)
He is CHEWY... he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. Dirt, leaves, grass, sticks, rocks, mulch, plants, furniture, the couch, the blanket, my arm, my shirt, my hand, my foot, my shoes, my pants, the leash, pretty much everything he comes in contact with. :-)

Welcome to the Heavyweights group. Yep, looks like Finn will have no problem making the "weight requirement". Bigger is better!

Carly really is a sweetheart. thanks. She's a very cuddly dog. Yours looks adorable too. Love the colouring on your dog. I haven't had much of an opportunity to go through this site, but hope to spend some more time on it next week.

I am so sorry about the loss of Brody. I can relate to the pain of losing a beloved pet. My Golden, Shadow, who lived to be 15 1/2 had to be put to sleep earlier this year. There is a picture of him on my page. He was awesome!!
Congratulations on your new puppy!! How exciting for you. Take lots of pictures as they grow up so fast. My two are both 3 and it seems so hard to believe.
Jennifer you were smart! I waited 3 years after my last dog of 15 years passed and I was MISERABLE! It really takes a dog to fill the empty space that a dog leaves...:)
