About Me:: I am a nurse but currently stay home with my two daughters, volunteer at a hospice center and help my husband with his optometry practice. I had a basset hound and irish setter as a kid, but Cooper is my first "adult" dog and we just love him to pieces!!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a black F1 labradoodle, born January 2008. His coat was all black as a new puppy, but after about 7 months he already started getting little gray/white hairs on his back. Now his beard is growing in red. He has an interesting coat. It is soft and fluffy in front and kind of course towards the back of his body. Probably wouldn't win any dog shows, but we love him just the same!

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: They are so cute, heard they were great family dogs, and mainly because we wanted a dog that was not a big shedder. We also heard they were smart dogs, which definitely is the case with Cooper.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Take hikes, play with his favorite toys, fetch, relax, watch my kids lay on him and all of them nap.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: PetSmart

Relationship Status:: Married
