What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have an Aussiedoodle. His name is Tucker. He is our first doodle and we love him to pieces. He is so smart and has a great personality.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: In the past we have raised German Shepherds and I was ready for a change. After origionally looking at Goldendoodles I found the Aussiedoodles and decided I liked the smaller size.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: He is currently 10-months old so we have been spending time training. Hope to do agility soon.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Life's Abundance food. He likes all toys but I'm currently searching for something he can destroy.

At 6:37pm on February 11, 2012, Amy, Cubbie & Ollie said…: different people will have different opinions, but I would probably wait on getting a second dog until Tucker is at least a year or year and a half old. having 2 dogs takes a lot of time and it would be easier to bring in a pup once Tucker is fully trained and out of the puppy stage himself. We did constant training with Cubbie for the 1st two years of his life but focused all of our training time on Ollie when we adopted him this past summer and I have noticed that Cubbie's behavior is not as good as it used to be. I know that we need to spend more time keeping up with his training too but it is sometimes difficult to find the time to train two dogs. Plenty of people raise 2 puppies at the same time and do just fine, so I guess it is just a matter of deciding what is right for your family.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the name "Tucker"... before we were married my DH got a dog and we named him Tucker - he was a golden/lab mix. Love your Tucker's coloring! Love all his white - I'm hoping our next aussiedoodle will have lots of white (kind of opposite Tori)
