About Me:

I am a Goldendoodle owner but I have always had at least one to three dogs in the family. We live in Alaska and love to RV, ATV and fish during our great Alaskan summers and we take our dogs everywhere with us. I travel alot in my job as a Business Consultant but when I am not traveling I love the time off it gives me to spend with my retired husband and fur babies. My Husband is the lucky "dog whisperer" in my life who gets to train and play with our fur babies the weeks when I am away at work and I get to cuddle and spoil them the weeks I am at home. Happily married for 34 years with 2 adult children we now spend our time and energy on each other and our fur babies.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have an f2 Goldendoodle puppy (female), an 18 month old husky/rottie mix and 2 AKC Pomeranians. Quite a combination but everyone gets along great and there is never a dull moment! We also enjoy raising zebra finches and feed a wide variety of nature's feathered wonders in our backyard during the winter months.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Experience and research revealed they are smart, gorgeous, loyal and loving dogs. The instinctual attraction to the water and potential low shedding were also attractive. We wanted another larger dog to be a companion and playmate for our husky/rottie mix so we specifically searched through breeders who had historically bred larger doodles.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Cuddle and watch her play with the rest of our fur babies. She loves to be brushed and will sit and lean against me for petting and cuddling for hours on end. She likes to play fetch and tug and her little docked tail makes her haappy butt dance irresistable.

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

glitter-graphics.com We share the fun with a local angel of a groomer but Lady loves it and is not a burden to groom.
