HI there - I saw your comment about your goldendoodle and chihuahua playing. It sound very similary to how my Peri and Taquito STILL play. Taquito is a chihuahua and he was 5 years old when Peri came home at 9 weeks old. Peri was a little too rough for him at first, but they figured it out. Doodles are generally pretty good and "play down" to smaller dogs. I wouldn't worry too much. Let them figure it out on their own. Really, just monitor the play time, but don't really step in. Just observe. Your chihuahua mix should end up showing him who's the boss. My chihuahua bit Peri lightly and she got the point pretty quickly. They are BEST friends now. It took about 2 or 3 weeks.
We just want to wish you a very Happy Birthday!
