About Me:
Hello, I am Joy R. I am the originator of Giant Schnoodles. I bred them as non shedding allergy friendly service dogs for me. You can read my story at www.GiantSchnoodles.com . I am in the process of building www.CaringTown.org , which is devoted to training service animals for people with disabilities and rescuing homeless schnoodle, doodles, poodle hybrids, schnauzers & other non shedding, allergy friendly dogs & placing them in wonderful forever homes. YOu can also see my dogs pulling me in a dog chariot on www.PromotionsByPuppyLove.com . This is one of the methods I use to raise money for CaringTown. You can also visit our chat forum at http://disc.yourwebapps.com/Indices/224017.html
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
My dogs are Xena, the first puppy of the first litter of intentional bred Giant Schnoodles in the world. Her parents are AKC registered & fully orthepedically & genetically tested. Xena is a service dog. She also pulls the dog chariot & dances canine freestyl. Her mother is Good Karma, white standard poodle. She is a service dog who also pulls the dog chariot & does canine freestyle. Mirage is my Schnoodle puppy 75 lbs who I hope will become a mama dog. She is drop dead gorgeous with fabulous genes that I have been breeding for. She was born April 15, 07. She is a service, carting, dancing dog in training. Zorro, 85 lbs, a schnoodle rescue is training as a service dog for a veteran amputee. I do rescue for the County of San Diego so I have many dogs who come through my home.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I chose to originate this breed to have the durability & intuitive ability of the Giant Schnauzer with the trainability of the poodle. And of course a large, non shedding dog that could live my lifestyle.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Hi Joy,
Garlic for fleas is a very old school thought. I remember it well, but since that time science found it actually causes severe illness in dogs. The entire family: onions, garlic, shallots, chives. All causes canine and feline anemia! So severe it may even cause liver problems and death.

Just because we used to in the 80s .... Well
We have all STOPPED! I hope you research this information further for your dog's sake

Thanks for reading. Best wishes

You tagged your photo perfectly. I take it from here. On Wed night I make the slide show and use the tags to search for all the air doodle photos -- your photo will be in the show by late wednesday night when the front page slide show changes to the next theme =)

Hi, Joy and WELCOME to The Doodle Rescuers. I am sorry it took me a few days. End of year teacher stuff...crazy time. I saw your discussion; CONGRATULATIONS and love the pics. The Group has no holds barred discussions and is fairly new, so I am looking forward to your input. The DRRC is growing and beginning to really make an impact in the world of rescue, which we are pretty proud of. So, welcome and come join our lively discussions. -Lynne

Hi Joy, thank you for your messages, both in the discussion and on my profile. Your photos are great... the chariot looks good fun!! Unfortunately I do not live anywhere near Buckingham Palace so for now am unable to help with your request for toilet paper! I live in Nottingham, home to the Robin Hood legend, which is in central England.. however, I will keep your request in mind on my next visit to London! Thank you once again for your reply, take care, Suzanne :)

Joy, unfortunately I can't do anything on your page for you. But I can try to explain how you can do it when you have energy to try it again. First question, can you see your empty text box on your page? at this point it's not much of a box until you fill it in with text or pictures. But there should be something in the middle column or the left column of your page that has a bar across the top and the word "edit" at the end of the bar. Let me know if you can find that and we can go from there when you're ready.
