I am contemplating adding another dog to our family. Willie is now 5 and I am wondering if some of you have added another puppy to the mix and how it worked out. I would get another doodle as…Continue

Welcome to DoodleKisses - the best website for doodle lovers everywhere. You are rather new to this site and I wanted to let you know that we are having a doodle romp at Carmel Beach on October 13. If you are available that date, we would love to meet you and Willie.
Hi Judy ~ Our Charlie is a Manor Lakes dog too (he is 1.6 years old. I agree with you - they have wonderful temperaments. Be sure to check out the groups section on the main page and join as many as you like. Just an FYI - there is a Manor Lakes Group. Looking forward to seeing more photos of Willi - he is a handsome dood!
Hi Judy,
It's nice to hear from you and it's good to see you here on DoodleKisses. I recognized your name immediately and I know you've ordered from our store several times. :-)
I'm glad to see you and Willie are doing well, and I'm sorry to hear about his tummy rash. Many environmental allergies appear on the skin in the form of a rash or hot spot, as opposed to a food allergy which is usually accompanied with yucky ears (brown waxy g***) in the ears - so personally I don't think Willie has a food allergy, I think it is more environmental, but I would consult a vet...the vet might prescribe a medicated shampoo to provide temporary relief.
Just some thoughts, perhaps Willie is sleeping on a new bedding fabric (??) that might cause the itch, or if you are using any type of "carpet fresh" product, or a fragranced grooming product, or maybe it's just razor burn from a close tummy shave. It will definitely require some investigation and observation. Since it is just on his tummy my hunch is that it is something he is resting on, or some type of irritating surface like concrete (the lime content) or a wood deck (my dog had an allergy to pine).
Please let me know if you discover the cause of his rash, I will be interested to know.
Good luck & Best wishes.
Kemp
Welcome! Willie looks so much like my small ALD, Ned.This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
Welcome to DoodleKisses - a great website for doodle lovers everywhere. We have a few things in common. I am also a retired teacher (elementary) and have an ALD, as well as a goldendoodle. Right now we are caring for another labradoodle whose family is vacationing in Germany. So we have a full house of doodles. Keeps me busy. If you ever get down to Carmel Beach, get in contact with me. We love to meet other doodles at the beach. You may also be interested in the NorCal group and the Australian Labradoodles group here at DoodleKisses. See you around.
