Thanks for the request.  Yes, I would be glad to share my breeder with you.  She is Sharon Merriman in Deer Park, Washington.  You can see her operation at DesignerDoodles.com if the website is up.  I don't know because she is getting ready to retire.  Anyway, she is great and very thorough in her testing and training.  I love her phantom poodles and you can see Groucho on the photos on my page.  Good look on finding the perfect dog for you and your boys.  You are in California so we may be able to work something out for a visit or selecting a puppy.  You might even be interested in the sheepadoodles, like I am getting sometime this summer.  I am very excited about the breed.  He is a photo of one our Groucho a couple of years ago.

Hi Julie- I just accepted your friend request.  My boy Bear from Spring Creek is absolutely wonderful.  He has an awesome disposition and he has beautiful fur....so soft and it flows.  He has been very healthy and I've never had any issues with anything with him.  He has never needed the vet outside of regular vaccinations.   He is very playful and sweet.....loves to snuggle.  I would get another Labradoodle from Spring Creek anytime.  The owner of Spring Creek is very nice and she is readily available to communicate with you on any questions you might have.  I think that I would get one that doesn't have the super smooth fleece like coat, because it gets matted rather quickly and he has to be groomed often.  His hair is about 6-8 inches long and very pretty, but if he had the type of fur that was a little more curly, I would keep a puppy cut on him and avoid the groomer a little more than I now.  Either way, he is a great wonderful addition to our family and I'm so happy with him. Good luck with your choice.  

Myla has been so easy to train - we have often said that our previous doodle Zak must be guiding her but she has also had our undivided attention as I am retired and DH is semi-retired and she goes everywhere with us. She definitely catches on easily and always wants to please us!  We have three grandchildren, ages four to twelve and we have had Myla for just about four years (wow, time flies!).  The only time we really had to watch her was during the nipping stage which lasted until she was around five months old - those teeth were sharp!  Now she follows them everywhere (they are here once a week minimum)  I have my youngest granddaughter every Friday and at 8:30 am Myla is sitting in front of the window facing the driveway waiting for her to come - it's awful on the days she doesn't come - Myla paces!  What we have found is that we have worked hard on training Myla to stop barking on command whenever there are people walking past our house and we have been successful except when the grandkids are here.  Then she won't stop until the strangers are gone - we figure it's her protectiveness and have let it go :).  Sharon, from Daeshars, breeds for health and temperament and I would definitely recommend her.  She will definitely give you honest advice as to how the dog will fit into your family and if it's the right time - she definitely does not mince words - she wants her puppies to be in their forever home when they leave her, that's for sure! 

Hi Julie - we got our Myla from Daeshars Designer Doodles in Spokane, Wa.  She is very passionate about health testing (which was very important to us as we lost a doodle at the age of five because of health reasons).  She loves to educate and help anyone interested in doodles and if you go on her facebook page Daeshars Designer Doodles you can see that she is currently also breeding poodles with a Newfoundland mostly as therapy dogs (because of their size) - there are quite a few clips that are interesting. She has been breeding standard F1's and F1B's for years. She prefers emails or phone calls as she's not hugely computer literate but if you contact her, she will help you with any questions you have.  Good luck.
