Myla is well trained on a leash - she doesn't walk beside us but she also doesn't pull! We are going on a holiday to the ocean where wolves have been attacking dogs (on their own). All dogs have to…Continue

I am trying to find the posts of someone on this site who had a blind doodle. I tried the search engine but came up blank. Someone on a different site has a dog that has suddenly gone blind and I…Continue

We travel a lot and always take Myla. Last weekend we decided to visit our brother and sister-in-law in Vancouver for three nights. We have done this many times in the past. They have an 18 year old cat, Tyrone, who tolerates Myla when we go to visit but usually hides. Unfortunately Tyrone is very ill with kidney issues and we decided that it was not the time to stress him out with a visit from Myla so we asked our son Steve (who is Myla's favourite person in the whole wide world) to…

I see from the latest postings that you are still around. I got one of Sharon's first sheepadoodle puppies and she is darling. It took a while but worth waiting. Meet MonaChica. She is feisty, independent, stubborn, and sneaky, but we love her anyway.
Thank you for your kind and supportive comments. Myla is beautiful.
Your concern, not our concern!
Thanks, Wendy. I hope you got the address for my mom. It has been hard, but the doctor says she will walk again. We are hopeful. It is hardest on my sister who lives in the same town :) LOL I am going home soon to help, but it doesn't give my sister the relief she needs. We are hoping she can get a Home Health Aid to take care of the many errands my mom needs someone to do :) Very frustrating for my mom that she can't do stuff for herself. Thank you for our concern!!
Wendy, we get our dogs water collars from hotdogsalldressed. They call them hydro collars and you can customize them. Our dogs have had the same collars for 3 years now and they look and smell like new.

And this is a Canadian shop!
Wendy, OMD....I didn't think twice about the editing comment :) I knew exactly what you meant. Thank you so much! I would love to write a book some day :)
We "found" Ned when we were camping in our RV in our favorite summer spot. We didn't take him then because we wanted to think it over to make sure we wanted a third dog. Well, thinking lasted less than a week because we drove the 500 miles round trip the next Saturday to pick him up! Myla is really a cute doodle.
How old was Myla in your 057 photo? My son just got a rescue pup and we are trying to decide if he is going to 'doodle out' as they say.
Oh good! Enjoy your trip!
