Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Welcome to DoodleKisses and the Book Loving Doodlers group. I see you are a rather new member. You might also check out the Chocolate Doodles group. Lily reminds me so much of my Hondo. Very much like him as a pup, especially the eyes, but the hair is a little longer. Ahhh, yes, a trip back about seven years.
This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy

Julie and Lily....welcome to DK. I see you found the Dixie's Doodles alumni group... so glad! This site is amazing and soooo informative. Shelby was also such a breeze early on.... I picked her up at 8 weeks.... only 2 nights with middle of the night potty breaks... :o) 3 or 4 house accidents, but honestly - all but one were MY fault! You are going to love doodle ownership.... I can't imagine life without my Shelby!
I just read your comment about the carrot...another great thing for the pups is bully sticks - keeps them busy for a WHILE! Congrats on your baby & good luck with her!
