- I have two lovely daughters, two cats and one doodle.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have a golden doodle named Max, he's four months old and the first dog we've had in over ten years. We love our doodle!
I also have two cats, one purebred ragdoll and one rescue. They are unfortunately not in love with doodles :(

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I walk around five miles a day on a lovely secluded path. I wanted a dog mostly to walk with me, but also just for companionship now that my children are older. One of my daughters has mild pet allergies so when I researched breeds I felt that the doodle fur plus their lovable temperament was the right dog for us.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love to walk and we walk between four and seven miles a day. I love spending time teaching him new things, playing with him, and just snuggling with him.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Nobody as yet, but I am thinking about doing it myself.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- I didn't know there were products just for doodles.

So I haven't been around posting very much. Living in Canada as I do, I like to spend every minute of good warm weather outside that I can. Winter is always just around the corner here. Max has been making new dog friends all over the place and we often have new and old friends coming over to visit which he always love. On the 23rd Max was crying to go outside at about 3 in the morning. Now usually he doesn't do that so late, but we figured he had to go. We have a very large backyard and it's pretty dark out there at night. My husband had thought he heard a dog bark just before he let him out but didn't think too much about it.
My husband let him out, and he ran half way down the yard, and suddenly all this yipping started, and Max had run to the back fence. Now I consider myself very lucky because…

LOL, it happens to the best of us!
I just knew it was you!! LOL. Boy that Max is a smart little walker - his leash manners were perfect - could teach Gavin a thing or two! And super cute too :) I had a couple of bad experiences at the park (dogs humping and pinning Gavin) - people bring undersocialized dogs there in order to socialize them. From reading that ad, it seems to me that both dogs were on leash and fought each other? Hard to know really - but a bad outcome. My other worry there is disease or giardia. Not everyone picks up their dog's waste. I am positive that Gavin and Max will be great together. We can take them to Germain park ball diamonds to run around if that suits you.
Hey. I think I saw you and Max today. Were you on London road near the Metro around 3:30? I am always on high doodle alert. Plus did you see the kijiji ad today about the fight at the dog park? I cannot link it right now, but to me it is a good place to avoid. We need to get together once the cold weather breaks.
Wow!! That is amazing! I would love to have one of these if I were rich and had more space in my yard. It is beautiful. I'll have to look into doing something like this for sure. It is a very good idea.
