About Me:: I am a psychotherapist, mother, wife, twin sister, woman with a full and happy life.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have almost two year old Sophie and one year old Stella. They are sisters with very different personalities. Sophie is a lady...graceful, loyal, calm. Stella is full of beans, playful, usually in some sort of trouble and very funny. They are both very sweet and intuitive and lovable.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We heard Doodles have easy personalities and that they make great therapy dogs. Plus NO SHEDDING!!!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Letting them off the leash and watching them run! Also, when they sleep on their backs.

Your girls are precious too! Aren't these the most incredible dogs! We take ours to Robin at Sloppy Kisses at the entrance to Brandermill. They love her, and she does such a great job. And I like how she will ONLY do what you want her to do. I hate it when some groomers just do whatever they are in the mood to do instead of what you request. But check her out, she does several of the Doods in our Richmond Group on here. I saw where you are planning to go to the Doodle Walk at Stony Point in March. Maybe we will see you there!

As I was admiring your photos, it looks like you enjoy enhancing the photos with some vignettes, etc. You should join our Photography group here on DK. Its a very active group and we have all sorts of "assignments" (all for fun, of course) and a lot of wonderful photographers who are willing to give advice on taking pictures. So, come join us!

At 9:17pm on July 11, 2011, Deb, Connor & Simon said…: Hey Junie, I don't know what part of town you live in, but on the southside in the Brandermill area, I would recommend Sloppy Kisses Grooming and Day Spa. The owner's name is Robin and she does many doodles in the GRAD group. On the Northside of the river (CaryTown), a friend of mine takes her doodles to PJPets. They do a nice job on them and don't shave them down either.

BTW, if you want for everyone in the GRAD group to reply, you need to post a question in the Discussions area. When you send out a mailing to everyone, there is no way to reply unless someone tracks you down through the member listing. :-)
