If Toby is truly afraid of it you could try doing a "touch it". Get down on the floor at his level. Hold the camera with one hand and "touch it" with the other, while you are saying "touch It" repeatedly, to Toby. Keep encouraging him to come up and touch it. If he does, give lots of praise and treats. I have used this with everything from baby strollers to a back hoe with my girls and it has always worked. Good Luck.
