My boyfriend Ryan, Dory and I have recently re-located to West Chester, PA. Dory is now 5 1/2 months old and adjusting great to her new surroundings. We love taking her to parks where she can meet other dogs. We can't say enough about her and the breed in general!!!!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have an F1 standard goldendoodle that is buff colored. She is our only pet at this time
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I found a breeder online that we fell in love with in Springfield, OH. It was a long journey for us but it was worth 16 hours in the car to find our perfect pup. I had a hard time finding doodle breeders in our area. I feel in love with the doodle due to their personalities, non shedding and adorable looks. Every doodle I had ever met before getting ours I fell in love with!! They are sweet and are great family dogs.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
We have a great park near our house and a large dog friendly outdoor mall. We love taking Dory to the mall where we can walk around and meet people as well as other dogs. They even have a Doggy bakery where she can get tasty treats!
Hello GRAD member,
We have a new and exciting event coming July 26th, from 1-4 to celebrate our recent jump to 100 members!
We will be having a BBQ/Picnic and a lake for the doodles to go swimming at The Dude Ranch in Glen Allen. Please check out the discussion on the group page entitled "Party Time" and respond there if you plan to attend so I can get a doodle head count for the facility.
Thanks and hope to see you there!

Hey there GRAD member,
This is a reminder that the Spring Romp is next weekend March 15th at 1pm. The make-up date in case of bad weather is the following Sunday. We have some great news, our newest member Charnell told me her daughter Amy, is launching a canine therapeutic massage business and she has volunteered to provide some freebie massages to the GRAD group at the romp. Also as I stated in the e-mail message we will be having a few contest. Inspired by Strange's Dog days in the garden, the best sit/stay, the owner/doodle look-a-like, and the best dressed for St. Patty's day contests. Please respond in the discussion on the group page if you will be attending and please let me know if you are new to the group, are attending and would like your GRAD bandana for your doodle.
Thanks and hope to see you there!

Hi Kelly! Just checking in to be sure you and Ryan are happy in your new home in PA. How's Dory doing? Got lots of exploring to do I s'pose!! Richmond's still the same, although we did get a decent snow last week. Actually closed schools for 2-3 days! Now, they are forecasting close to 80 degrees for the weekend!! Now that the snow is done, I am ready for those nice weekends to come on in!! Stay in touch and let us know how things are going. And don't forget to look us up if you get back down this way. You know we are always looking for a good excuse to get the gang together!!
Hello & thanks for the information about the play-dates! We live in the King or Prussia area. Sorry it took so long for a reply, I don't log in here too often. Katie would have a great time at a play date, she is only 4 months old now and our other dog is 13 and not at all interested in playing with her so I think she would have a great time. Please keep me posted, thanks again!!
Hey there Kelly. Glad to hear Dory is adjusting well. I bet it is so fun to watch her play in the snow. I am JEALOUS!! I wish we had gotten just some snow (not too much) to play with Stella in it! Sounds like you have the perfect location where you moved and I hope Dory finds some doodles to romp with! Stay in touch and don't forget to let us know when you can visit!!!!
Belinda thanks again for the hosting the doodleromp. We are really going to miss richmond but I hope to stay in touch with everyone I've met at GRAD on doodlekisses. And hopefully Dory can come play when we visit! Thanks for everything.
Hey there GRAD member,
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know there is a discussion I’d like you to check out on the GRAD page if you haven’t already seen it. It’s on the topic of “Birth Homes” and you may just find a sibling or two of your doodle on there. All you need to do is put your doodles birth info (as much as you know) in the discussion.
Also don’t forget about our doodle walk coming up on Feb. 7th in Carytown at 2pm!!
Hi Kelly,
Are you originally from this area?
