We have 8 children, alladoptable, most with special needs. 5 still at home, 2 on their own and an angel in heaven due to childhood cancer. We have one golden retriever who is now neutered and a standard black, female poodle, who thinks she's another one of our children.
Asia has had 3 litters of goldendoodles and is now retired. Her daughter Holly has had 2 litters and her granddaughter Ginger has has one litter. Holly is black & 43 lbs and Ginger is apricot and only 34 lbs. Ginger is an F2b. We also have one male English Cream F1 Goldendoodle and he is 45 lbs. our newest addition is an F1b mini parti-doodle Maci Mae, who should mature around 25 lbs. max at maturity.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Our puppies are born in our home, not in a kennel. They are socialized by adults and children from birth. We LOVE our puppies, we practice ENS,
Early Neurological stimulation. Jasper throws creams most often and his blocky head and stocky body and all of our doodles have the wonderful, sweet temperaments and are very smart. Several have been placed in homes to be trained as therapy dogs.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
We love our poodle and our golden, except for the shedding, need we say more, the doodle is thee BEST of both worlds! Also, we have a child with pet allergies and he is great around our doodles.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Snuggle and play with them, give them tons of love! Take endless photos of them and delight in seeing and hearing about the puppies we have placed.
We are not a puppy mill, we will have maybe one or two litters a year. The puppies are raised in the house, not in a kennel and they are held by children and adults from very early on. They are loved on by all of us and this has been a great experience for all of us. Our second litter was literally whelped in our kitchen and they stayed there until they were 6 weeks old and had their first shots and could be moved to the sun porch to have more room to play. When the weather is warm enough, and they have started their vaccinations, they finally get some outdoor playtime in our fenced yard.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!

I believe that Joy was my other favorite besides Gunner! She was so Spunky that first time we were there! I hate that she hasn't found a home yet! :-(( I've been asking friends and relatives but no one seems really interested because they all have dogs of their own. Maybe you could put her on this site somewhere I'm sure there's got to be a spot for puppy ads. Gunner I swear has already doubled in size since we got him!! He's learned sit, shake, lay down, and roll over so far. He's still not wanting to poop outside. I dunno what to do about that but we're constantly working on it so hopefully it'll get better soon. He's gotten really good about sleeping through the night. For the past 4 nights he's held it until morning, leaving the puppy pads clean and dry! He gets very excited about the kids when they first come in in the mornings, but after they're here a few minutes he calms down and leaves them alone (for the most part! haha) We bought him this really huge Puppy Bed before we brought him home for the first time (it's actually technically a gigantic pillow) But for some reason he'd much rather lay on the bare hard wood floor on top of a sock! He's very loyal and loves us all very much! (He also chewed up Daddy's favorite cap yesterday morning during his nap time in our room. Daddy wasn't happy but he got over it! hahahaha) I'm so glad we got him!
He's doin really great! We're having "pooping" issues though. His accidents are very few but when there are it's poop. I can stay out for an hour with him and still nothing. He's gotten down that he needs to go outside go pee but he just doesnt' seem to understand the pooping outside thing. We left him in the house alone for the first time last night and he did fantastic! I put a puppy pad in the room with him and he used it and didn't chew on anything! We had to go somewhere this morning too, and this time he didn't even go in the room and was asleep in the closet on shoes when I came back in. He also has a MAJOR shoe fetish. haha He loves to sleep on them, chew on them (even as you try to walk), he'll disappear for a second and walk back in with a shoe. How he gets them I have no idea. But he's alot of fun and his personality is really starting to come through. He still sleeps alot! But he's sleeping through the night now for the most part too. I've got to go and get his 9 week shots sometime this week too. I really hope he does ok! Sorry didn't mean to ramble but I love my Gunner and I tend to get carried away! hahaha How are the other babies doin? Any prospective homes yet?
