Profile Information
- About Me:
- I have 4 children (5 if you include my Husband...). My children are 17, 13, 3, and almost 2, as of January 2011. We now have 2 dogs, and one Betta fish named Daddy. Controlled chaos is a good way to sum up our household.
I work full time outside the home and part time at home. In my spare time, I love to golf. During the warm months I am on the course at least twice a week. During the cold winter months, I try to make it to the Dome (our indoor driving range) once a week.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have a Goldendoodle. His name is Kashi Callaway Kille. Dad was a white Standard Poodle and Mom was a Golden Retriever. Kashi was born 10/27/2010. We also have Sadie who is a beautiful Chow/Lab mix. She is 11 years old and is doing much better than expected with her new little shadow. 8*)
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We chose a doodle because we were hoping for a well mannered and very intelligent dog. We have heard great things about them, and think they are super cute!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Although keeping Kashi's attention is rather difficult at times.... In his short periods of attentiveness he will Sit, Lay Down, Sit Pretty and Come. I am pleasantly surprised at how easily he picks things up. Sadie (our older dog) who is the most wonderful dog in the world, is just not the brightest. It took a bit more work to train her.
He also is in awe of the bath tub. The whole time I have my daughters in there, he is trying to get in. However, when I put him in there to bathe him, he doesn't seem as thrilled with it. Im hoping he does love the water though, so he can swim in the "pool" with the girls in the summer.

- A little bit but nothing major

- Favorite Doodle Products?
- The "Deedle Dudes" dog toys. They sing in a crazy little voice "deedle deedle doo, deedle deedle dee!" Kashi loves it. I will say though, he did tear it after only about a week. I took the singing mechanism out of it and put it in one of his "Egg Babies". The Egg Babies are another great toy. There are little squeakers tucked inside them, and the dog has to work to get them out. Similar to a Kong, but it is a plush animal.

Hello! Your doodle is very cute! Yes, I am new to the site, it is so much fun and people are so friendly. Sylvania is a nice area, I love the little shops downtown.
